Personality Disorders
People who experience, as either their primary or secondary personality, one that is not consistent with the social norm. This is rooted in the individual's inability to accept the demands of the outside world.
Antisocial Personality Disorder
The person experiences impulsivity, and the inability to conform to the rules of society. There is also a clear lack of guilt or anxiety associated with their behavior.
Borderline Personality Disorder
This condition is characterized by unpredictable and impulsive behavior. The individual experiences strong feelings of self doubt or insecurity. They may act calm and rational at times, but can explode into acts of rage, or simply inappropriate anger. These rapid changes in mood are likely due to the perceived rejection or criticism of the individual.
Multiple Personality Disorder
Person possesses more than one distinct personality. Generally, the formation of alternative personalities is the result of a traumatic experience that the individual was unable to cope with. The new personality is a form of escape from the emotional pain that is experienced.
